About Us

Woodland Studios was started in January, 1999. It was the life long dream of Bill Veitch as his wife, Joyce followed right along side of him in support of that dream. Photography was nothing new to Bill; in fact, he has been in graphic arts since his high school days. Having served in various capacities in the field of graphic arts, he became the Regional Trainer for the Southeast division for United Church Directories in the mid 1980’s.

Since then, Bill has worked in the electronic prepress trade industry as a color/retouch artist where he developed his skill that he found to be necessary as photography has evolved from film to the digital age.

His passion has always been photography and it was no surprise when life’s situation found Bill and Joyce in a full time capacity with Woodland Studios Photography in January, 2004. The move to full time status coincides with the completion of a studio addition to their home in Smithville.

Our mission is to provide quality professional photography at affordable prices. “We spend time with our clients and treat them as we would want to be treated. We feel everyone deserves to have quality in their portraits and photography experience.”

Woodland Studios Photography is a member of: PPA, NAPP. We are also affiliate photographers for the non profit organization Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep - NILMDTS.
